The Australian infrastructure sector, plays a key role in acheiving net zero

"The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concluded the need for 'Net Zero' by 2050 to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
If we are to acheive this, the Australian infrastructure sector, which influences 70% of the country's emissions, must play a leading role.
"While progress has occurred, the net zero transition requires a fundamental re-examination of the way the sector plans, delivers and operates infrastructure." Infrastructure Sustainability Council.
Infrastructure development needs to deliver assets that are not only more resilient to crisis or disaster, but also more responsive to the changing needs of our cities and communities.
