Suitable for Western Power, Synergy Projects

Western Power Bollards can be secured directly in-ground (1800 L) but you can choose to secure your bollards using the Impact Recovery System to substantially reduce maintenance costs (making footings & bollards re-usable following severe impact).

 NON-CONDUCTIVE BOLLARDS

Option 1.
In-ground

Advanced Polymer Bollards are made from a revolutionary new polymer that is not only non-conductive but also absorbs impact and recovers following multiple impacts.

Can be installed directly inground and will "flex" allowing for low speed impact without damage. To protect against more severe impact- Refer to Impact Recovery Bollards

Option 2 .
In-ground concrete filled

Bollards can be concrete filled, but that turns them back into rigid bolalrds- and this can happen! We suggest concrete filling only to ground level- reinforcing the bollard where most vulnerable to damage from impact but still allowing the bollard to "flex".

Please ensure bollards are placed a max of  1 m from the item to be protected. This ensures that if badly impacted the Advanced Polymer Bollard creates a safe protective shield between electricsal item and the vehicle.

Option 3 .
Impact Recovery

Bollards can be secured using Surface Mount or In-ground Impact Recovery System.

Unlike spring loaded bollards, Impact Recovery Bollards remain rigid, (providing protection and cannot be deflected by hand) but when impacted by a vehicle the bollard deflects up to a maximum of 20 degrees and slowly recovers.

Both the bollard and surrounding foundations remain re-usable following even severe impact.

Advanced Polymer Bollards

Highly durable Non-Conductive Bollards made from Advanced Polymers are impact, scratch , dent resistant, will not chip or fade like powder coated bollards. Western Power/ Synergy Approved.

Protect Electrical infrastructure

Unlike steel bollards (shown above)  Advanced Polymer Bollards are able to absorb light impact and self recover. They can be secured using the Impact Recovery System making both the bollard and concrete footings reusable following even severe impact. Western Power Approved

Impact Resistant

You can choose to secure them in-ground and bollards absorb light impact making them self recover from small bumps.  If secured using the Impact Recovery System Bollards and footings are reusable following even severe impact

Impact Recovery

When secured using the Impact Recovery System bollards deflect (up to a maximum of 20 degrees) and self recover from light impact, and both your bollard and the surrounding foundations become reusable even following severe impact

Stop damage to footings!

Unlike steel bollards, Advanced Polymer Bollards are far more forgiving- able to absorb light impact and self recover. When secured using the Impact Recovery System
Bollards and footings become reusable following even severe impact - saving thousands

Dent resistant

Most plastic bollards are 1-3 mm thick (shown left), so dent and crack if impacted. ZERO bollards & covers are 7 mm thick (made from an advanced polymer) making them highly resistant to sun, impact and denting - greatly improving resilience and lifespan

In-ground

You can install Advanced Polymer Bollards in-ground, or using the Impact Recovery System (making bollards and foundations re-usable even following severe impact)

Suggest Impact Recovery System when bollards may be subject to severe impact.

Surface Mount

You can surface mount Advanced Polymer Bollards using the Impact Recovery System (making bollards and foundations re-usable even following severe impact)

Perfect for carparks and locations where bollards will receive light impact

Stop damage to vehicles!

Unlike steel bollards, Advanced Polymer Bollards are far more forgiving with a soft surface - protecting vehicles against damage when impacted. If secured using the Impact Recovery System Bollards they provide even greater protection against damage
