STEP 2 : Select the foundation
1.SELECT BOLLARD
Select your bollard design. Steel powder coated , Stainless steel (pipe polished) or Advanced Polymer (non conductive, won't rust, dent or chip (Western Power Approved)
Standard units are Safety Yellow but can be made in other colours (min 6 )
STEP 2. SELECT FOOTING
Choose to install your bollard In-ground (removable) 350 mm or 650 mm Depth.
350 mm is sufficient for most applications (as the rings take the brunt of the impact force) unless bollard may be subject to severe impact from trucks/ large vehicles (then we suggest installing foundation to 650 mm depth)
Surface Mount must be installed in substantial concrete footing using 5 evenly spaced concrete anchors.
The Resistance Core is the ONLY replaceable component.
We suggest buying a few spares to ensure replacements can be made quickly following any bad impact.
Low Impact
Bollards remain rigid and appear to be everyday bollards (cannot be deflected by hand)) but when impacted by a vehicle they absorb the impact force deflecting a maximum of 20 degrees and self-recovering, with no diminished capacity following hundreds of impacts.
Severe Impact
When severely impacted by a utility or truck, instead of the entire footing being dislodged, the foundations remain undamaged. The inner resistance core bends allowing the bollard to fold but not be dislodged- preventing any further forward movement of the vehicle
Fast efficient replacements
Following severe impact bollard is easily removed (low cost resistance core replaced) and reinstated in around 5 mins. Expensive Foundations, Bollards and ZERO Impact Recovery Rings are all re-usable impact after impact, saving thousands over the life of a development
