Standard Resistance Core

The internal resistance core provides adequate resistance to stop a passenger vehicle at low speed. Do not use any lighter wall (such as the standard galvanised steel signpost of 2.3 mm, or even the stronger 2.9 mm wall thickness signposts ) as they will bend too easily, creating unnecessary maintenance.
 
Extra Heavy Duty Resistance Core  available for 650 mm depth footings only

If you find bollards are being damaged too frequently (they are possibly being imapcted by trucks or utility vehicles) we suggest increasing the strength of the internal resistance core to an extra heavy duty core providing approximately 150% greater resistance against bending (please note this will result in considerable damage to passenger vehicles if impacted at high speed)
