Protect people, property and infrastructure with bollard systems designed for strength, visibility, resilience and long-term value.
ZERO CIVIL™ supplies high-quality bollards for commercial, industrial, government and residential applications designed to withstand impact and continue working. From car parks and loading zones to public infrastructure and restricted-access areas, we provide resilient bollard systems for each site.
Why Bollards Matter
Bollards help control vehicle access, guide traffic, protect assets and improve pedestrian safety. However, bollards can dent, rust, damage vehicles, and fracture concrete footings when impacted- resulting in costly ongoing maintenance
ZERO CIVIL™ offers fixed, removable, surface-mounted and impact-recovery bollard systems enable bollards to recover from light vehicle impact (such as carpark impacts) and following major impact, the internal resistance core may need replacing, while the Bollard and surrounding footing remain reusable.
Bollard Materials
Stainless Steel Bollards
Manufactured from heavy-wall 304-grade stainless steel pipe rather than lightweight decorative tube, our stainless steel bollards combine strength, corrosion resistance and a premium architectural finish.
They are suitable for commercial buildings, retail precincts, public spaces and asset-protection applications where appearance and durability are equally important.
Hot-Dip Galvanised Steel Bollards
Galvanised steel bollards have traditionally been used in driveways, loading docks, warehouses and car parks.
Although strong, conventional steel bollards can dent, bend and transfer impact forces into the surrounding concrete. For many applications, Advanced Polymer Bollards now provide a safer and more resilient alternative with lower long-term maintenance requirements.
Advanced Polymer Bollards
ZERO CIVIL™ Advanced Polymer Bollards are heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant bollards designed to absorb repeated low-speed impacts without denting, rusting or causing unnecessary vehicle damage.
They are ideal for traffic guidance, car parks, pedestrian areas, loading zones, utilities and other locations where conventional steel bollards are frequently damaged.
Safety Yellow Bollards
High-visibility yellow bollards with reflective bands are commonly used in warehouses, loading areas, car parks and safety-critical zones.
Conventional powder-coated steel bollards can chip, scratch, dent and corrode following impact. For lower maintenance and improved resilience, ZERO CIVIL™ recommends Advanced Polymer Bollards or steel bollards protected by an Advanced Polymer cover.
Bollard Types
Surface-Mounted Bollards
Surface-mounted bollards are secured to existing concrete using a base plate and mechanical anchors. Where impact is likely, we recommend you install bollards using the ZERO CIVIL™ Surface-Mounted Impact Recovery System, substantially reducing the risk of damage to the bollard, anchors and concrete slab.
Surface Mount Impact Recovery Bollards suitable for warehouses, car parks, retail centres, machinery protection and sites where excavation is impractical.
In-Ground Bollards
In-ground bollards provide a solution for high-risk locations, although traditional rigid installations when impacted by a vehicle transfer impact forces directly into the footing, often damaging both the bollard and surrounding concrete
Installing bollards with the ZERO CIVIL™ Impact Recovery System allows the bollard to absorb and dissipate impact more effectively making the bollard and footing reusable following vehicle impacts.
Removable Bollards
Removable bollards provide secure access control while allowing vehicles, equipment or maintenance crews to enter when required. ZERO CIVIL™ removable bollards are available in Advanced Polymer, stainless steel and galvanised steel options.
Our reusable ground-socket systems eliminate the need to repeatedly excavate and replace concrete foundations when bollards are removed, relocated or damaged and can be capped off (or used to secure another item) when bollard is not in use
Flexible and Impact-Absorbing Bollards
Advanced Polymer Bollards absorb low-speed vehicle impacts and recover without the permanent denting associated with conventional steel bollards.
They are particularly suited to traffic islands, bike lanes, loading zones, car parks and other areas where bollards are exposed to frequent accidental contact. Greater impact performance, can be achieved with the ZERO CIVIL™ Impact Recovery System, making the bollard and footing reusable following even severe vehicle impacts.
